PhD program in Computational and Quantitative Biology

Are you looking for excellent research opportunities for your PhD studies at the forefront of cancer research?

Call is open for a PhD position for the duration of three years. Candidate will benefit from the University of Naples “Federico II” rich training programs and a broad student network.

The MajelloLAB invites motivated and enthusiastic students holding a Master’s degree in (molecular) biology, computational biology or engineering to apply for the Computational and Quantitative Biology PhD Program for a project that aims to investigate Systems biology modelling of the role of DNA damage repair and autophagy in cancer.

  • The candidate should have programming skills, experience or interest in data analysis. Knowledge of basic molecular biology protocols and cancer biology literature is beneficial.
  • We offer exciting projects and a highly interdisciplinary team, with biologists and computational scientists that will support you.
  • She/He will work within collaborations with our current partners in Italy, EU and USA.
