Experiments in Teaching Innovation - Science Dissemination and Research are the two side of my Academic Career

Prof. Barbara Majello is Full Professor of Genetics group Leader of the Human Genetics laboratory at the Department of Biology and member of the Faculty of the PHD program in Computational and Quantitative Biology University at the Federico II University. BM has a long-standing competence in molecular genetics at the level of gene expression in cancer. BM's main interests have been focused on several complementary aspects of oncogenes (Myc) in cancers as well on signal transduction pathways that mediate the cellular response to different stimuli. Particular emphasis of her work recently relies on oxidative DNA damage, the role of autophagy and epigenetic changes in DNA damage response and Cancers. She will be involved in the ERC and the Start-Up phase. Link to CV
